Assessment & Accountability
Schools and teachers require high-quality instructional programs and materials to provide effective instruction to all students. For students performing below grade level some combination of the core instructional program with additional highly specific supplemental reading materials and intervention programs will be used for tiered instruction.
The combination of materials used will be based on the learning needs of students. All programs and materials used in the Leake County School District will be devised according to evidence-based research and, to the greatest degree possible, these programs and materials will be demonstrated to be effective in rigorous scientific studies.
