Lynda Pickett is the School Nurse for the Leake County Public School District. She is responsible for teaching health-related courses and for counseling students. She also serves the basic health care needs of students.

 

Tuesdie Renfroe is the School Nurse for the Leake Central Elementary School. She serves the basic health care needs of students.

Information
Senate Bill 2700, which was passed during the 2006 Regular Legislative Session, requires local school districts and agricultural high schools to provide information about meningococcal disease and the effectiveness of vaccinations. The law states that a district may establish a link on its Web site to the State Department of Health's Web site to be in compliance.
